The “Nominee Director” service is a way to maintain control over the company and ensure its performance at a time when the head of the organization, for one reason or another, cannot be present in Russia or has not yet taken office.

According to Russian legislation, the presence of a General Director is required already at the stage of registration of the Company, Branch or Representative Office. However, if the general director is a foreigner, then before starting his duties, he needs to obtain a work permit (the procedure takes at least 2 months).
