BRANCH OR REPRESENTATIVE?
A branch and a representative office of a foreign company are separate subdivisions, acting at its direction outside the headquarters of the parent company and performing all or part of its functions. In their activities, these divisions are fully subordinate to the company that established them.
The difference between the Branch and the Representative Office is that the Representative Office can only engage in marketing and advertising activities, as well as representing the interests of the parent company .
